Our four area resorts offer skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and ice skating in winter, plus ziplines, scenic lift rides and mountain bike trails in summer. Between Boone and Banner Elk lies Seven Devils, featuring Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline plus the popular Otter Falls. And Valle Crucis is always a favorite spot, with the original, historic Mast General Store, the Valle Crucis Community Park, and host each Autumn to the Valle Country Fair. Or head over to Todd, on the other side of Boone, for some kayaking, river tubing, and cycling along the Railroad Grade Road.
